A WARM WELCOME

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to make your experience as easy as possible:

You won't be put on the spot or made to feel uncomfortable.
If you'd like, you can fill out the connect form here, and we'll follow up with you later. Know that you'll be among a community of broken people, all in need of God's grace.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What to wear

Clothes

We are a diverse community representing more than a dozen nationalities. You’ll find people dressed in anything from very casual jeans and t-shirts to suits. We encourage you to just come as you feel comfortable.

Children

Children Praying

We are thankful to have a congregation with many children.

We encourage all parents to train their children to worship as part of the church. We provide a secure nursery and classes for children up to P7 during our services, and you will be invited to check them in during the service. Some children remain in the service the entire time, and we welcome their presence.

Service Format

Stage

Our service is intentional in that it follows a deliberate order of worship, but it’s not formal in style. We sing several songs, offer congregational and pastoral prayers to God, hear Scripture read and preached, and celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month in the morning and once in the evening. We close each service with a word of blessing. Afterwards, it’s normal to find folks talking over the sermon and the events of the past week with a coffee in hand; you will be made to feel welcome and included.

Sermon

Bible

Our preaching is expositional, meaning that it seeks to systematically work through passages of Scripture, declaring the big idea of a particular Biblical passage as it points us to Christ. We always consider the practical application rooted in the redemptive story of Scripture. Our sermon series regularly alternates between the Old and New Testaments. All of our preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Music

Band

We sing a blend of lyrically rich songs, both recent and historic, with strong theological foundations.

Those of us who are comfortable with music from one particular era have discovered that we come to enjoy other songs we had not previously encountered. We are convinced of congregational singing, which emphasises the gathered people enthusiastically singing praise to God with one voice. Most Sundays we sing with piano, guitars, and drums, and sometimes we sing the older hymns with the organ.
