PASTORS

Our pastors, who serve as staff elders, work alongside the eldership team as spiritual overseers.

Together, they prayerfully guide the church under the authority of Christ.

Pastor

Matthew Marshall

Matthew is the Pastor of GBC and has served on our staff team in various capacities for over 9 years.
Matthew graduated from Crosslands in 2018 with an MA in Christian Ministry (unaccredited). He is married to Lorraine, who serves as the Assistant Manager of the Bridge Cafe. Together they have two children, Elijah and Annabelle. They love to travel and experience God at work in different cultures and contexts.

Assistant Pastor

Gavin Thomson

Gavin is the Assistant Pastor of GBC and has served on our staff team in various capacities for over 6 years. Gavin is currently studying with Crosslands for his MA in Christian Ministry. He is married to Joanna, who serves as the Sunday School director. Together they have three children, Emily, Felicity, and Noah. They love the great outdoors, exploring God’s creation.

Pastoral Assistant

Wade Clark

Wade and his family are originally from Western Kentucky. Wade is married to Leslie, and they have two children, Ellie and Judah. They moved to Scotland in April 2024.

Wade serves on staff at Glenrothes Baptist Church as the Pastoral Assistant. Leslie serves as the women's ministry leader and Homeschools their children. Wade has a bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University.

ELDERS

Our Elders provide spiritual oversight and leadership under Christ’s authority.

Colin Roworth

Colin has faithfully served on the GBC eldership for many decades, guiding the church through various seasons.
After a long career in the papermaking industry, he later worked with the Banner of Truth Trust.
Colin is married to Sue, and they have a large family of children and grandchildren.

Stephen Dewar

Stephen is the full-time team lead at the Bridge Cafe, where he passionately shares the Gospel and engages in evangelism.
He works alongside his wife Nancy, who also serves full-time there. Together, they have a large family of children and grandchildren.

Steven Beveridge

Steven joined our team as the
Bridge Cafe manager in 2019 - bringing over
16 years of experience in the hospitality
industry.
He now leads a large team of staff and volunteers, passionately working to bridge the Kingdom of Fife to the Kingdom of God through the message of Jesus Christ.
Steven is married to Ruth, and they are blessed with two children, Caleb and Willow. They love family outings with their dog.

Steve Rodgers

Steve has served in pastoral ministry at various churches throughout his career and now brings that valuable experience to our eldership team. In addition to his role at GBC, he works full-time with Bethany Christian Trust, supporting those in need. Steve is married to Denise, and together they have two grown daughters.
